What is stored on your device
When you open a page or choose a language, the site saves one value in your browser's local storage, named tne-locale, with the code of your language (for example pt-BR). It is used only to open the site in that language the next time you visit. It is not a cookie, it is not sent to us, and it contains nothing that identifies you. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
Cookies and trackers
The site does not set cookies. It does not use Google Analytics or any other analytics service, and it does not show ads. Fonts and images are served from our own domain, so reading an article does not send requests to other companies.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site against abuse, Cloudflare processes technical information about each request, such as your IP address, the type of browser and the page requested. Cloudflare's handling of this data is described in its privacy policy.
Links to other sites
Our articles link to the sources we used, such as vendor advisories and CVE records. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you leave our site.
Email and contact form
If you use the contact form, it sends your name, email, the subject you chose, your message, the page and language you wrote from and your approximate country to our mailbox through Cloudflare. If you write to us, we receive your email address and your message. We use them only to read and answer your message. We do not sell or share them, and we do not add you to any mailing list.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, which in practice means the emails you sent us, and ask us to delete it. Write to [email protected].
Changes to this policy
If we add analytics or advertising in the future, for example Google AdSense, we will update this page before turning them on, list the cookies and partners involved, and ask for your consent where the law requires it. The date at the top of this page shows the last update.
